I have been a fan of Mary Orton and her blog Memorandum. I think I made that clear in previous post. In fact when I was planning my outfit, I was inspired by one of her outfits when I was shopping for pants. I love loose pants but not to loose. I wanted something that will is comfortable but still professional enough for work. I have been planning to buy palazzo pants but I cannot seem to visualize how to wear it and what to pair with it. So I was really inspired by this photo of Mary Orton that I found in the internet.
I was happy that I really bought that plaid polo shirt. If you feel that the plaid polo shirt is familiar, it is because you found it from this post. I believe I already talked about how we should purchase clothes that are good for mixing and matching and obviously the polo shirt does the job but not only that, this polo shirt can be worn for work and play. That’s another style tip there, have purchases that are good for working weekdays and chillin’ weekends.

That’s one way on how to wear palazzo pants at work, you can pair it with long sleeves and tucked in the long sleeves. Another way is you can wear it with sleeveless blouse that is slim fit so that you will have an option to tuck in or not. Lastly, you can pair it with crop tops and pair it with business jackets for cover up.
Wearing palazzo pants is really tricky. The material that is used for the pants that you would be wearing should meet office requirements. There are palazzo pants that are flowy and made of light materials, as long as the pants are not too sheer, that would do. The length of the palazzo pants can be tricky, there are the ones that goes above the ankle and there are ones that goes beyond your toes covering your feet, ensure that whichever you would choose, it would be something that you can walk into. If you are wearing high waisted pants, you can always tuck in the top especially if it is slim fit. If you are wearing a loose and flowy top, it would be best not to tuck it in but if you are wearing the cropped pants, I would consider tucking it in. If you have a cropped top, I would consider a full length palazzo pants, this would make you taller and slimmer. Wearing palazzo pants is fun if you understand proportions. Leave on the comments section what you think of how I fair in wearing the palazzo pants as I was inspired by Mary Orton.
